這又是一首陳老師上課教學的歌，演唱者是Dan Fogelberg
他已經與20071216因為前列腺癌病逝，時年56歲。
Steve（我的英文老師） 說以他的才情應該要與Michael Jackson 等人齊名
但他的事業不是一飛沖天，而是慢慢而上。
這次除了這首歌之外，還有Dan Fogelberg的另外一首歌Leader of the Band
介紹這兩首歌給朋友，很多人都喜歡leader of the band ，而我卻是最喜歡Same old Lang Syne
因為當我找到這兩首歌時，闔上雙眼享受音樂時，卻被same old lang syne 吸引了，
雖然現在僅是22.4歲，卻別有一番感覺，
不是因為愛情而是因為友情，
歌詞中「just for a moment i was back at school, and felt that old familiar pain」
無憂無慮無遺憾的學生，只剩下三個月我們即將畢業了，
國小國中高中大學這十幾年卻隨這首歌快速跑馬
it is not necessary to be pain, it could be happiness, friendship or partnership.
歲月穿梭，唯有當下
my friend, toast to innocence, to now and to our rememberable time.
十年後，好久不見的我們，we can buy a six-packed beer anywhere, and toast for our reunion.
what kind are we going to be? like the chessing elders at the park?
all of us must be successful in our life journey, however rich we are.
some may poor at making money, but they must have earned a splendid life.
歌詞『and as i turned to make my way back home, the snow turned into rain」
當我轉身踏上回家的路，雪，竟轉變成了雨， 流淚。
這淚應該是殊途同歸偶遇因喜悅而流的
歌曲來到尾聲， 以下引用自「一個人的體熱」
◆ auld lang syne 是蘇格蘭文，也是18世紀蘇格蘭詩人Robert Burns所做的一首民謠，直譯為"old long since " ；"times gone by" 或 "once upon a time"，意即 "美好的往昔"。歐美國家通常會在除夕夜跨年午夜12點時播放或合唱，象徵對過去一年的懷念。
這首曲子被許多電影、歌曲引用或改編，如三０年代的經典電影"魂斷藍橋"等。記得唸國小、國中時的畢業典禮都會演奏這首"驪歌"，象徵送舊迎新；參加喪禮時樂隊也常演奏，代表告別或結束的情感。
