The opening scenes of the film show us a variety of old people on the streets of New York. Compare that to the last scene of the film. Where are we in the last scene? Who do we see in the last scene? What might be the meaning of that final image of the film?

The last scene is in California, there are old men chatting and playing chess, and by this way we can see Harry is happy there.

Present my position

Writing Assignment. This is a two-part writing assignment.

1.    Select any one of the above questions (i.e. questions 1 through 19) and write a short (i.e. two paragraph) personal answer to that question.

Question 3:

We see a contrast between travelers and settled people in the film. Discuss this contrast.

When it comes to the contrasts between travelers and settle people, in my own opinion, I think there are several contrasts between travelers and settled people. The life style, the comfort, the way they treat to their friend and the happiness.
